About the Project

The Creative Wellbeing Curriculum Guide is a comprehensive resource for teaching artists and facilitators working with systems-impacted youth and the adults who support them. Developed for LA County agencies and the Arts for Healing and Justice Network, this guide balances structured educational content with artistic expression through an integrated visual system that features artworks, program photography, wellness and nature inspired graphics, and accessible typography.

The design highlights clear pathways through the curriculum’s story and facilitator focused content while maintaining visual warmth. Special attention was given to highlighting youth voices, featuring artwork and reflections from the program’s Youth Content Advisors throughout the publication. The resulting guide serves as both a practical toolkit for facilitators in Los Angeles and a visual encapsulation of the initiative’s core values: healing-centered arts engagement, culturally relevant pedagogy, and self- and community-care.
